The LabSoft LIMS Microbiology Add-In supports work flow standardization, timeliness and accuracy
in the microbiology (e.g. Listeria Monocytogenes) environmental sample testing procedure. LabSoft
LIMS Micro provides a configurable method for food processing facilities to manage, store, report
and access data from their sample testing process. LabSoft LIMS Micro was designed to aid food
processors with their compliance of regulatory programs such as 9 CFR Part 430 and FSIS Directive 10240.4.
- Load Balanced Sample Set Selection - Generate random sample set test
schedules. The selection process uses a pre-determined time window to evenly balance testing of
the sample set areas/zones. The sample sites within the set are a pure random selection.
- Non-routine Test Scheduler - Schedules intensified sample set testing when triggered
from test results.
- Action Items - Consistently monitor and record performed sample set action(s).
- External Lab Interface - Ability to two-way interface with an external lab. This
bi-directional data transfer increases the timeliness and accuracy of sample set
test result data.
- Scheduling Calendar - View and filter the sample sets testing schedule. Manually
adjust the sample set schedule.
- Automatic E-mail - Generate e-mail notices to specified distribution lists when certain
events occur. E-mail messages can link to and run LabSoft LIMS.
- Configurability - User configurability allows LabSoft LIMS to adapt to your developing
needs. Examples of configurability include: adding your own fields and codes, sending e-mail
messages, generated reports, and sample program setup. With sample program setup users have
the ability to create and edit sample programs (e coli, salmonella, etc.) including the schedule
sequence for intensified testing.
- Document Encapsulation - Ability to scan, store and view related documents through
the sample information entry screen.
Supports any format including Word®, Excel®, Acrobat® PDF, etc.
- Process Verification - LabSoft LIMS Micro validates the sample set selection process
to ensure proper documentation by the user.
- Report Generation - Examples include:
