LabSoft LIMS utilizes Control Plans as a graphing/auto analyzing tool that checks for runs &
trends.
- Control Events
Control Plans can be set to perform specific actions if certain Control Events occur. Control Events can
be set to act on Specifications. Example Control Events are: n consecutive points ascending or descending,
n points above or below the mean, Out of Spec, Out of 3 Sigma, etc. The user can select a data point and view
what Control Event was violated, the Action Taken, and Notes.
- Trend Notification
If a violation occurs, LabSoft LIMS can execute any combination of the following tasks for the
Control Chart:
- E-mail a message.
- E-mail the Graph as an attachment.
- Create a Notice for a user or group of users.
- Circle the data point that triggered the violation.
